Elaìa
In the ancient times, during the most sacred ceremonies the priest used only one fruit
to celebrate the Gods: Elaìa.
Nowadays we call that fruit olive and that is where the name of this precious oil comes from.
Concept
Elaìa is a concept brand for a luxury company specialized in product made of olive oil and its derivates.
Ancient oil press were amazing machines made of round heavy stones, but I decided that, while the circular pattern was perfect for a logo, its heaviness was not ideal to deliver the brand identity.
That’s why the outside layer of the press is now made of olive leaves.
